If you use Google Maps on your desktop computer and want to zoom in to their helpful Street View feature, you’ll probably use the drag and drop Pegman from the bottom right of the screen. But have you noticed how he’s not always the same little orange character? Here’s three times we’ve noticed him playing dress up.
1. Loch Ness
Search for Loch Ness on Google Maps, and the Pegman turns into a little green, Loch Ness Monster.
2. Buckingham Palace
Zoom onto Buckingham Palace and Pegman becomes Pegma’am as he dresses up like the Queen.
3. Area 51
A search for Area 51 reveals the rather uninspiring location, ‘Homey Airport, Closed.’ But, pick up the Pegman and you’ll see he’s found himself a flying saucer to zoom around in.
